How much menstrual fluid should be collected for each specimen?
The menstrual cup should be retained for 2-3 hours. The menstrual fluid that is collected--usually about one teaspoon, is to be used for one specimen. Completing the collection process will require the use of the menstrual cup twice during your menstrual period.
